The Association of African Universities (AAU) has partnered with eLearnAfrica to Design, Develop, Deliver, and Deploy Learning Management Systems (LMS) throughout Africa. This initiative was launched on July 7, 2021, during the AAU’s 15th Quadrennial General Conference of African University Leaders. The objective of the platform is to support the efforts of universities in Africa, through the provision of FREE eLearning tools to make online education accessible, while generating income for universities, institutions, and schools. A total of 400 universities and 20 million students in Africa are expected to benefit from this eLearning platform.
The AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS educational content is available through a website (the “Portal”) and a mobile application (the “App”) AAU LMS (elearnafricalms.com)
Since its launch in July 2021, the AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS has successfully onboarded 49 Universities and 47 professors, lecturers/ educators, and one corporate training institute onto the Learning Management System.
