INFORMATION BULLETIN
The inaugural Africa Engagement Forum, hosted by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), took place virtually in 2021 as a key component of ICANN's Africa Regional Plan. The event successfully convened participants from across the globe amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Building on the success of the previous edition, ICANN, in collaboration with the Association of African Universities (AAU) as the local host, is proud to announce this year's hybrid engagement forum scheduled to be held from 25th to 27th July 2023. The forum aims to provide a platform for both physical and virtual participation, ensuring a diverse and inclusive audience.

The conference will be held at the Marriott Hotel, in Accra, Ghana.

VISA
For participants who require visas prior to traveling, the AAU will assist by providing the essential information and invitation letters to facilitate their visa application processes. It is important to note that, in most cases, the passport should have an expiry date of at least six months prior to the intended travel date. HEALTH REQUIREMENT
Based on the COVID-19 risk assessment in Ghana and global trends, the Government of Ghana has lifted existing COVID-19 travel restrictions for all arriving passengers in Ghana. General health safety measures like hand disinfection and wearing of nose masks are however recommended in all airport terminals and ancillary buildings for passenger's safety.
Participants will be required to produce proof of their Yellow Fever Vaccination Card before being allowed entry.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE FROM ACCRA
Please check with your hotel. Some hotels provide complimentary airport shuttle service in accordance with your flight arrival and departure times in Accra at the Kotoka International Airport.

For booking accommodations, we kindly request participants to contact the hotels directly. Alternatively, if you have a sponsoring organization, please reach out to them for assistance with your booking arrangements.
IDENTIFICATION BADGES AND SECURITY
Participants will be given identification badges to be worn at all times during the engagement forum for security purposes. It is essential to note that hotels will strictly enforce this requirement. Additionally, participants are advised to keep their personal belongings secure and not leave them unattended.
