Despite great gains made over the years regarding access and representation of women in African higher education, the percentage of women in leadership and decision-making positions continues to be small.
Stakeholders of African Higher Education Institutions are being called upon to put in strategies which will stress the importance of implementing policies that seek to ensure the provision of equal opportunities for both men and women to excel in African higher education institutions to change the narrative.
