received the ACU Symons Award during the Commonwealth Vice-Chancellors Forum which was held in Malaysia from 15 to 18 June 2009.
AAU will participate in the 2009 World Conference on Higher Education, *which will be held in Paris, France from 5 to 8 July.

The AAU through its DATAD programme took part in ETD2009
(Electronic Thesis and dissertation) network annual conference.
This conference series is organized by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and

The AAU REN Unit organised a Workshop on "Social Networking Technologies for Teaching and Learning Transformation*" in Dakar on 26-27 May 2009.
