AAU organised a Workshop on Developing Internal Quality assurance for African Higer Education Institutions
16-18 September 2009 at the Mplaza Hotel, Accra Ghana
The overall objective of the workshop is for participants to have identified key areas in their work through which to enhance internal quality assurance processes in their institutions.

received the ACU Symons Award during the Commonwealth Vice-Chancellors Forum which was held in Malaysia from 15 to 18 June 2009.
With the support of the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID), Higher
Education for Development (HED), in collaboration with the Africa-US Higher
Education Initiative and the Association of African Universities (AAU) organised
a conference on the theme: Reshaping Human and Institutional Capacity
